Position: ERP Project Manager/Principal Business Analyst
Reports to IT Business Manager – Applications
Description:
This position will be responsible for managing a variety of large and small JDEdwards Enterprise One ERP projects. The ERP Project Manager will require broad business knowledge and specific project management and methodology experience. The person must be able to organize and lead many projects of varying complexity and size. The person must possess excellent people and communication skills, and independently interact with team members, business contacts, management and executive management. The person must be driven to improve processes and technology within the businesses as well as within the Information Technology department.
Required:
BS, or BA degree in information technologies or business, or equivalent work experience
5 plus years experience in similar or related roles
Extensive project management experience
Mid to large size enterprise experience
Preferred:
PMP credential
Manufacturing business experience
JD Edwards experience (or SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc)
ERP conversion project experience
Duties and responsibilities:
Project management and leadership from conception to close
Project planning, resource management, budgeting and control, establish quality standards
Team development
Champion change agent
Current state analysis
Prepare and present findings, recommendations, status reporting
Ability to communicate and educate the organization
Follow corporations' project methodology
Act as a resource to assist staff and management in resolving resource utilization challenges or conflicts
Maintain overall process knowledge of various business systems
