MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

2171, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:  Within one hour of Columbus, IN.  Plastics manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Technician for their growing company. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Successful candidate will install and wire industrial equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager. 
• Will routinely perform machinery checks ensuring all safety devices are installed and functioning properly, conduct periodic tests or checks of all electrical equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment. 
• Will also identify and report potential equipment or building issues. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• To qualify, you must have a high school diploma, 3-5 years of recent industrial maintenance experience, along with strong troubleshooting skills. 
• You should posses a strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems as well as strong PLC programming experience. 
• Your industrial experience within a plastics extrusion or injection stretch blow molding environment that is a big plus, but not a requirement.
