Job Description

In very simple terms, in this position you will be responsible to support the manufacturing operation in order to obtain optimum shift productivity on 2nd shift – 12 hour shift nights.

• Control production costs and downtime.

• Adherence to standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices and safety standards

• Monitor production and finished products for constant production flow

• Drive quality improvements

• Eliminate process waste through good functional leadership

• Creates results-oriented winning teams

• Ensure production lines adequately staffed

Job Requirements

To succeed in this position you will need

1. 3 – 5 years production supervisory experience in a process manufacturing environment

- Food is ideal

- Pharmaceutical or other FDA background is attractive

- Automotive Tier component is possible

2. Experienced in planning and implementing production strategies

3. Technically current and competent

4. Team player, natural leader with solid communication and interpersonal skills

5. Broad management perspective
