PRODUCTION TEAM LEAD

Leadership and production experience required

• Operation of liquid mixing equipment
• Set up and operation of packing equipment
• Clean and changeover production line
• Complete production batch paperwork (log books and other documentation)
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by all employees on team
• Ensure all packaging components and raw materials are ready for next production run
• Verify all unused components are counted, documented and returned to inventory accordingly
• Verify calculation of finished product yields and document accordingly
• Assist with new employee orientation and training
• Assist with writing and updating written SOP
• Assist with writing tracking production labor costs

      REQUIREMENTS:

• Production experience required (nutraceutical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing a plus)
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand on feet most of the day
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment andmeet or exceed efficiency standards
• Ability to lead a team
• Abiliity to count and perform basic math with a calculator
• Ability to read production batch record instructions, equipment manuals, SOPs, audit reports
• Must pass Maricopa County safe foods handlers exam
• Ability to complete a variety of documentation
• Computer skills required (email, Word, Excel)
