About the Position:

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability to perform mail merges, insert charts and tables, etc.
  • Picks up, sorts and distributes mail, coordinates package delivery.
  • Covers for receptionist 1 hour per day, answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Performs word processing, creates spreadsheets and presentations, other typing/creative projects as requested by the client.
  • Operates binding equipment, fax machine, copier, etc.
  • Orders client office supplies.
  • Maintains filing systems.
  • Responsible for marketing own services, such as word processing and PowerPoint presentation skills to clients through flyers, coupons, word-of-mouth, etc. in order to generate center revenue. Builds business relationships with clients that will drive service revenue.
  • Serves as a backup to similar positions within the center. May provide backup assistance to other centers as needed or required.
  • Assists with furniture moves as needed/required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all clients, employees and visitors.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a given situation.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and technology such as computers, printers, scanner & support software, telephones, facsimile machines, postage machines and copier.
  • Professional attire is required.
