PROGRAM MANAGER - TECHNICAL

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Work with a cross-disciplinary team of resources to provide end-to-end technical project management of all aspects of the solution design and development lifecycle for a campaign management solution that is part of a larger closed loop marketing strategy

Scope of Work

Provides all aspects of technical project management, including management of detailed project requirement definition, budgeting, project planning, metrics tracking, and timely deliverables

 

Developing project estimates, evaluating vendor for implementation.

 

Works with architects to ensure project solution complies with CUE Architecture (CUE is a program under which this project will be sponsored)

 

Works with other program workstreams to understand and manage integration points and dependencies

 

Establishes project scope, clear decision gates, vendor SOWs, and entrance/ exit criteria across phases of implementation

 

Creates and maintains project plans and manages all project activities against these plans, including vendor plans

 

Manages day-to-day performance and deliverables of project team members, both internal to Pfizer as well as external resources

 

Clearly communicates and manages expectations with clients, project team members and related workstreams

 

Effectively leads meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, and conducts productive technology project team status/review meetings

 

Identifies and brings to resolution project risks and issues, escalates major project risks to scope or budget or timeline to appropriate escalation points

 

Plans for the smooth transition of production applications to support and maintenance structures working with the Services Delivery team

 

Works within the project management framework, standards and methodologies defined to ensure consistency and efficiency in delivery to the US pharmaceuticals business

 

May develop RFPs with support from appropriate Technology Management  team members and provides oversight of vendors across the solutions delivery lifecycle

 

Key metrics include on-time, on-budget, on-quality project delivery; client satisfaction on a project-to-project basis; user satisfaction and effective leadership of teams through influence

 

Drives detailed program requirement definition, planning, team resource management, metrics tracking, and technical program delivery to scope, budget and timelines

 

Adheres to Project Methodology documentation standards and processes

 

Skills Required to be considered:    

Pharmaceutical

 

Demonstrated experience managing projects including determining project viability, developing rigorous project estimates, developing and establishing a project plan, budget, and identifying resource requirements

 

Experience using project management methodologies and standards

 

Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

Extensive experience in delivering complex solutions

 

excels at critical thinking and planning

 

In addition to the above:

Manages vendor resources for the Campaign Management System implementation.

 

Manages the Campaign Management System project through the project life cycle and ensures effective transition of project to sustainable service delivery

 

Candidates must have a minimum of at least 6+ years  experience managing cross-disciplinary teams including experience managing multiple programs with $1MM annual spend as well as 6+ years of vendor management experience

 

Experience with Campaign Management programs/systems and Data Driven Marketing Systems is preferred but not required

 

Experience with Siebel is required

 

Candidates are required to have PROGRAM MANAGEMENT experience, overseeing 2 or more parallel, integrated projects

 

Experience with QualityCenter as a testing tool is a plus

 

Experience with deployment activities, including integration testing and user acceptance testing, of large programs

 

Minimum Education Required:

 

B.A., B.S., B.Ed or Masters Degree, Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP/ISEB)

 

PMI / PMP Certification
