PROJECT CONTROL ANALYST

TYBRIN's Mission Planning Development Group (MPDG) has a mission to be the preferred supplier of mission support software products through effective processes that focus on delivering reliable, timely, innovative and cost-effective solutions to our customers. Mission support products enhance the ability of our DoD customers to perform complex and life critical missions. Key products include: Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS), Tanker Airlift and Special Missions (TASM), Flight Planning Models (FPMs), Joint Precision Air Drop System (JPADS) and the Combat Weapons Delivery System (CWDS).

TYBRIN is seeking a Project Control Analyst in Nashua, NH to be responsible for the development, definition and management of the scope, schedule and budget for work contained in the control accounts for the program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with program manager and IPT leads, develop preliminary scope of work, work breakdown structures and preliminary schedule of work packages for assigned control accounts.

  • Resource load the baseline schedule to reflect resources needed to accomplish the work scope within contract time limits.

  • Identify earned value measurement techniques that are appropriate for each work package.

  • Authorize and direct work package efforts within the control accounts.

  • Identify and prioritize work packages and maintain schedule discipline managing to the project's critical path.

  • Monitor work package progress in the schedule at a detailed level. Provide actuals and remaining duration/work to the integrated master schedule, using EVMS principles. Manage material progress and subcontractor progress as appropriate.

  • Prepare variance analysis reports based on EVM data that clearly address cause, impact and corrective action and keep management informed of issues/risks on regular basis.

Education Desired/Required:

  • Bachelors degree in business or technical area and 3 years professional experience with project management/scheduling .
Experience Required:
  • Earned value management, primavera, risk management in a software development environment is preferred. PMP is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), analytical and organizational skills, ability to work planning details, multi-tasking ability and learn quickly
