About the Job
Feld Entertainment, Inc., the world’s largest producer of live family entertainment, including Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey® Circus, Disney On Ice, Disney Live!, Doodlebops and Feld Motor Sports is searching for a Proofreader/Copy Editor to work at our world headquarters in Vienna, Virginia.
This person will provide the assurance of quality and accuracy in all Marketing Services materials created by and for various branded properties of the Company by fact checking, proofreading, copyediting and reviewing art choices and composition.
Qualifications for this position include:
· B.A. degree in English, Journalism or equivalent English course work.
· 2 years experience in advertising communications: proofreading, commercial art/design, copyediting.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; eye and memory for detail.
· Software experience: Windows 7.0, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Tools, PowerPoint.
· Able to maintain an above average level for accuracy the first time through.
· Wide range of general knowledge.
