Position Summary:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective organization with which to operate an efficient operation which satisfies customer service and physical inventory distribution requirements of the geographical area assigned, through a distribution center. Supervises all functions related to operation of the PSC
Essential Functions:
1. Supplements the Field Sales Organization through an aggressive inside sales effort, and periodic field sales trips.
2. Develops a realistic budget plan and manages Center within budget constraints.
3. Forecasts, maintains and manages inventory to insure optimum inventory turnover while maintaining a high level of customer responsiveness.
4. Supervises and reviews the processing of all customer service and order entry
5. Maintains familiarity with competitive environment with geographic area of responsibility.
6. Supervise the timely supply of inventory flow to include judicious expediting of material through manufacturing and production control.
7. Issues periodic reports concerning status of department to insure adherence to established company policy.
8. Implements company policies and programs to include responsibility for personnel function of hiring, training, wage and salary administration.
9. Maintains all physical properties to include building, grounds and equipment.
10. Develops and maintains an active safety program
11. Maintains a high level of housekeeping in all Center operations
12. Develops and maintains active cost reduction program.

-Ability to effectively interact with employees
Special Requirements:
-Minimum of three years experience in warehousing, selling or related functions
-Experience in company procedures
-Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
-Travel not to exceed 25%
