PSH Scrum/Agile Coach
The Public Sector Healthcare group at CGI Federal is looking for a senior level and experienced ¡§Agile/Scrum Coach¡¨ to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for maturing and improving the existing Agile processes within the team, making sure it is used correctly and helping the team to maximize its benefits. The person would coach the various Release teams (both functional and technical) in proper Agile Release and Iteration planning, Agile Estimation and Iteration execution activities. This person would bring thought leadership to the team in terms of leveraging existing or new tools for planning, estimation and collaboration within and across team.
Specific responsibilities include:
„X Be the ¡§Coach¡¨ and ¡§Trainer¡¨ for all Release teams and facilitate the introduction of proper Agile Processes and culture within the team. Advocate and evangelize best practices in Agile development within the team. „X Work with Task leads and team members to develop proper Release/Iteration Plans, decompose high-level client requirements to user stories, define and deliver iterations or sprints . „X Introduce improvements in form of process and tools to facilitate Agile/Scrum based SDLC that leads to improved solutions and increased developer collaboration. „X Keep abreast of AGILE development methodologies and supporting processes „X Coach and mentor other Agile/Scrum practitioners within team..
Required skills include: „X 4+ years experience working on AGILE implementations and organizations „X Experience tracking and managing multiple releases „X Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential „X Ability to facilitate meetings, resolve issues and drive towards decisions „X Experience tracking progress in terms of Team velocity and sprint burndown charts, etc. Ability to leverage agile metrics to discover and mitigate schedule and performance risks „XExperience working in CMMI Level 3 environments is also a plus.
