About the Job

Clinical Research Management, Inc. (CRM) is a Government Contractor specializing in infectious disease research in the U.S. and aboard. CRM provides GxP services, research personnel, and support services, contributing to the development of vaccines, drugs, and devices, to help prevent, diagnose, and treat human disease. CRM has an immediate need for a PT Data Input & File Admin in Silver Spring, MD.


RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Data entry, filing of study protocol related documents, indexing, photocopying, scanning, shredding of documents, etc. in coordination with the Office’s Information/Database Manager and Deputy Director, Office of Research Management.
2. Participate in planning, execution, and preparation for the monthly Human Use Review Committee convened meeting.
3. Provide technical assistance to CRM Headquarters as needed and participate on proposal writing projects when requested.
4. Provide all job-related progress reports/technical reports as requested.
5. Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.
6. Performs light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s degree with a scientific background is preferred.
2. Must be experienced in word-processing and data input and querying with regard to Microsoft Access.
3. Must be must be able to work independently, on-site, and PART-TIME (M-W-F, 16-24 hrs/week) in a team environment.
4. Must be highly organized with excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Previous experience in a research setting or a US government setting is highly preferred.
6. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: knowledge of applicable highly complex office procedures and techniques relating to position.
7. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
