JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking exceptional and accomplished individuals to provide project management support for Defense Finance and Accounting Services Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) initiatives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Consultants will be expected to work with minimal supervision and be comfortable interacting directly with senior level clients. Primary roles include:

·         Supporting the BRAC Project Management Office in preparing, coordinating, and monitoring project plans, assessing the impact of BRAC requirements on Agency strategies, monitoring business operations and risks during BRAC restructuring of business processes.

·         Providing financial management planning, programming, budgeting, and obligation expenditure of BRAC programs.

·         Reviewing and analyzing manpower requirements and staffing plans, and develops workforce strategies for BRAC implementation.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Interested candidates should possess the following:

·         Bachelors – Masters Degree in public administration, business administration, finance, accounting, computer science, systems development, project management.

·         3 – 6 years experience working with a professional service firm in government consulting, preferably with Federal  DOD agencies

·         2 – 5 years of financial management experience in budget formulation, cost/budget analysis, and/or return on investment analysis

·         Experience working with DFAS and BRAC programs preferred

·         Demonstrated experience in project management, problem solving, and managerial analytical skills

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·         Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and Excel pivot tables

·         Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to successfully complete a background and criminal history check.

Preference will be given to candidates with Project Management Professional Certification.
