Principal Accountabilities

  1. 40% - Design

  2. 30% - Meetings

  3. 20% - Press Approvals

  4. 10% - Creative Management/Art Direction




  • Obtain and review briefs from Marketing

  • Provide cost estimates prior to commencing work

  • Manage budgets

  • Concept and design development for all packaging requests

  • Ensure that designs are impactful, innovative and reflective of our brand positioning

  • Ensure cost effectiveness of designs

  • Hire and manage freelancers as needed

  • Provide comps for Marketing and Production/Purchasing department

  • Be aware of and research packaging trends within this channel.

      External contact with Printers, Separators, Illustrators .

    Education & Experience

    Minimum education required: Bachelor degree in Graphic Design

    Years of relevant experience: 5 years or more. Must include work done for global markets most specifically the Japanese Market

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in Mac Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop

    • Basic sketching and comping

    • Ability to do press approvals

    • Understanding of color separations process

    • Photo shoot art direction
