What we offer
 
1) Administers machine operations, as required to accomplish production objectives.
Set-up, filling and packaging equipment as required.
 
2) Adjusts dials, gauges, photo eyes, torque, labelers, tape machines, date coders,
weigh scales and other related equipment, as required to positively affect production
operations.
 
3) Assemble cartons, pour/package products at required quantities and label cartons/
containers as required for products according to shop order packaging instructions.
 
4) Performs various SPC data collection and charting activity, as specified.
 
5) Monitors production process to ensure compliance to operational standards. Ensure
compliance with all facility SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policies and procedures.
Ensure conformance and support with facility quality management system.
 
6) Maintains accurate inventories, performs production reporting, inventory transfers, tally
card process and picks components when batch is complete utilizing the operating
system.
 
7) Maintain 5S, Visual Factory and lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping
and be assigned to attend team meetings designed to reduce cycle time, remove waste
and non-value added activities and reduce costs.
 
8) Maintain good housekeeping standards including cleaning equipment and general work
area, polishing, sweeping, trash removal, operate motorized floor scrubber, assure all
equipment/tools/RM's are stored in proper locations, and no aisle, fire extinguishers,
emergency exits are blocked.
 
9) Identifies production problems both current and potential and advises corrective actions.
Ensures that Production Supervisor or Shift Leader is advised of problems or concerns.
 
10) Must be trained in grounding and bonding procedures to control static electricity.
 
11) May be requested to perform operator preventative maintenance on equipment.
 
12) Will handle both hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with procedures.
 
13) May be required to adjust work hours and/or work overtime to meet business demands.
 
14) This position has the potential to have environmental impact. At all times, the
environmental policies and procedures of this site will be followed.
 
15) Obtain input from Chemical Operator, Shift Leader, Production Team Leader, and/or
Plant Supervisor for the tasks required for the day based on schedule.
 
16) Various other duties as assigned.
 

Qualification:

High school diploma/GED required.
Passing of standardized cognitive company test(s)
Ability to work required overtime to meet business goals
Proper training, protective equipment and instruction for safety practices will be provided.
Able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position.
