REQUIREMENTS & TRAVEL: Must be willing to travel within the greater Los Angeles area, have reliable transportation, good math aptitude as well as oral and written communication skills. Good PC skills also a must. Medical background strongly preferred.  

JOB SUMMARY: Candidate travels within the greater Los Angeles Area at different customer locations conducting inventory & maintaining stock levels of customer’s surgical products. Conducts inventories and helps clients determine if program is suitable for their needs.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Works primarily on client site. Conducts inventories and presents PANDAC program to client.
  • Assists client organizations in stocking central supply.  
  • Assists in database maintenance for PANDAC Program.  
  • Works with client material managers to identify inventory problems and solutions.  
  • Forwards PANDAC inventories and supporting documentation to Corporate for detailed analysis and preparation of recommendations for customer participation in program.  
  • May personally fill client short orders.  
  • May credit client account for excess inventories of string and stables.  

STRENGTH REQUIREMENT:

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. However, if the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                               

EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:                  

  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic, English, and grammar
  • Accuracy in checking, posting, and counting.  
  • Simple use of automated office equipment.  
  • Adaptable to clerical routines.       
  • Equal to a high school diploma.       
                                                    

WORK EXPERIENCE:                              

  • Over three months up to and including one year.  

                                             
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:               

  • 10 key by touch required.             
  • Personal computer skills a plus.      
  • Good interpersonal skills.
