Job Title              Paralegal

FLSA Status      Exempt (salaried)

Reports to          Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary and Objectives: 

Provides litigation and legal support to Senior Management

Job Duties and Responsibilities

-          Organizes legal documents and files.

-          Works on confidential legal cases.

-          resolves routine legal issues and researches/analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes as needed

-          Assists external counsel in managing litigation, discovery and settlement negotiations and trials.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Have exposure to and knowledge of legal documents and procedures.

- Proven experience in successfully handling multiple priorities and organizational

  skills.

- Previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- -Ability to be professional, assertive, take charge and maintain stability under pressure

-Work independently with little direction

-Meet schedules and timelines

Minimum Credentials and Experience required

-          Paralegal education and certification.

-          1-3 years actual paralegal experience.
