EMQ FamiliesFirst is hiring for a Parent Involvement Coordinator in our Sacramento office.
Under the general direction of the Director of Clinical Services, the Parent Involvement Coordinator is responsible to ensure effective service delivery processes that maximize family access, voice and choice throughout AGENCY programs and services and in the larger community. The Parent Involvement Coordinator serves as a member of the divisional or program management team to ensure that agency and program policies and practices are family friendly, and may supervise Family Partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience typically gained as a parent or caregiver of a child with a “special needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts/Science (B.A./B.S.) degree with a college or university program certificate;One to two (1 – 2) years experience.State or National certification in any human service field is preferred (i.e. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist [CTRS]).
