Part-Time Accountant- Manufacturing Experience



Description:


  • Would you love to have the flexibility to work part-time and still stay sharp on your accounting skills?

  • Are you a degreed Accountant with experience supporting manufacturing environments?

  • Do you have strong experience with GAAP principles and working with various accounting software?


If so, a local manufacturing company is selectively searching for your experience to join their accounting team. This position will work approximately 20 - 30 hours/week and has flexibility for days/hours.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting

  • 3+ years accounting experience supporting manufacturing environments

  • Solid understand and experience of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)

  • Proficient working with Windows based computer applications

  • Experience and understanding of monthly financial statements, reconciling accounts, payroll preparation, tax filings and estimates, quarterly financial reports and IRS filing and guidelines

  • Preferred interest in working only part-time hours
