Part-Time Administrative/Personal Assistant - Troy

About the Job

Small business owner in Troy is seeking a part-time administrative/personal assistant.  Part-time hours will likely consist of three days per week, totalling 20-24 hours, but flexibility is possible.  This person will be responsible for all administrative support and other duties as required to provide executive personal assistance to the owner.  This opportunity is currently slated to last 4-6 weeks, but long-term potential exists for the right person.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Phone reception
  • E-mail management (Microsoft Outlook)
  • Document and Spreadsheet creation and management (Word and Excel 2007)
  • Creating Dynamic Presentations in PowerPoint 2007
  • Personal Executive Support Duties - Light cleaning, coffee, supplies, etc.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will possess a High School Diploma
  • Some business training would be a plus
  • 1+ Years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Office 2007 preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to run errands as needed
