JOB DESCRIPTION

The Associate Service Center Representative works in a call center environment to provide quality customer service to employees at Express. The Representative handles inbound phone calls related to pay, benefits and other HR issues to ensure the caller's needs are met in a timely manner. 

This is a Part Time position (15-20 hours per work) 
Main responsibilities of the Associate Service Center Representative include, but are not limited to:

1. Handling inbound calls, identifying caller's need, processing necessary transactions and escalating issues as required. Document issues and resolution. Outbound calls for issue resolution and follow-up may be required.
* Answer questions and provide information related to benefits and payroll.
* Assist associates and managers with Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) transactions.
2. Processing transactions received via mail, fax or email
* Input appropriate data into the core application of PeopleSoft to complete Benefit, General Deduction, Payroll, Personal or Job data transactions that cannot be completed through ESS or MSS
* Provide detailed information in a tracking system to serve as a history of all calls for each associate
* Create detailed case histories for Payroll Operations to process compensation checks that were not captured on the regular payroll run. Coordinate with other functional groups within HR as necessary.
* Update pay rate change information from workflow approved emails.
* Process and correct daily Point Of Sale error reports
3. Supporting reorganizations and other large-scale projects that require HR data processing
* Assist with Payroll data and Service Coordination transactions as dictated by call volume

Qualifications

 

*          High school diploma or GED required

*          Minimum of one year of Call Center experience strongly desired

*          Minimum of 1 year of prior data entry or benefit administration experience desired

*          Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment.

*          MS Office applications experience and basic and phone knowledge/ etiquette.

*          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*          Strong attention to detail and accuracy

*          Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals

*          Proven reliability and dependability - history of punctuality and good attendance

*          Prior PeopleSoft experience preferred

*          Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

*          Associate Degree or some college education preferred
