We have an immediate opening for a Part Time Desktop Support Administrator (20 hours/week).
This is technical work involving the resolving of technical support tasks as required by providing desktop support for Windows XP/Vista/7, particularly as it relates to network connectivity and use of email, application and file servers, as needed. Support includes but is not limited to: Phone support, Desktop/Laptop installation and deployment, infrastructure hardware and software, remote access systems, and hardware/software upgrades. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving customer support issues quickly, completely, and with high levels of professionalism. All duties are related to the acquisition, setup, configuration, support, knowledge sharing, maintenance, and upgrading/replacing of corporate systems and standard and approved software running on those systems. Assist in determining standards related to acquisition and configuration of workstation systems (desktops, laptops, and handhelds). Provide problem diagnosis and resolution for hardware and software related problems as required, in a timely and accurate way, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Work with Data Technology team to deploy applications that affect the workstation in any way.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Computer Science, MIS, related technical training with courses in information technology including certification; one (1) to two (2) years relevant experience in customer/help desk support of networks and network connected devices; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
Must have a working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing programs (i.e. EXCEL, WORD). Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to follow directions and work well with others.
