The Delmarva Council BSA Organization is now hiring for multiple Part Time Program & Activities Specialists in Salisbury, Maryland. The programs run after school from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Job Summary

A Program Specialist will engage young Scouts in active and imaginative activities from the Scouting Program and will draw inand manage parents and potential leaders. Program Specialists needs to be a self-starter and able to work independently.

Job Description/Responsiblities:

1. Responsible for saftey, program delivery and volunteer recruitment

2. Responsible for ongoing communication with Scouts' parents

3. Responsible for ongoing communitcation with ScoutReach Executive

4. Responsible for attending trainings

5. Responsible for attending monthly leadership meetings(Round Tables)

Job Requirements:

-College Student or Graduate

-Ability to work with young children

-Self-Motivated

-Desire for community involvement

-Must be at least 21 years of age to be a Program Specialist

-Must have a car or the ability to travel to meeting location

Hours: Afterschool hours

Location: Fruitland Community Center, Hazel Youth Center, and Salvation Army East Side
