Part Time Sales position: Seeking candidates for our  “New Business Account Representative”- up to $35,000+ the first year with a solid base and a flexible schedule.

A typical day as a New Business Account Representative will include:

  • Engage contact with prospective customers by making a commitment to daily cold calling with the objective of setting appointments
  • Make sales presentations using proven structured sales process to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by our specific products and services.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications.
  • Emphasize product/service features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients and other references
  • Prepare new account information  for orders obtained  and coordinate hand-off to service personnel
  • Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.


 

Successful candidates:
  • Minimum 2 years inside or outside sales experience (B2B not necessary; Successful & serious home business sales background acceptable. Must be able to give proof of sales achievements)
  • Must be smart, organized and have initiative. 
  • Enjoy and excel at planning and executing daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to follow proven sales process
  • Have excellent communication skills. 
  • Must have excellent driving record and be a non-smoker. 
 
Compensation Package is base plus commission. Commission is paid out as a percentage of sales. Realistic first year earnings are $30K-$50K.
