Part Time Teller

QUALIFICATIONS:  High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

                               1 year cash handling and customer service experience

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

1.         Processes deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and other member transactions in a professional, courteous manner.

2.         Responsible for the daily balancing of teller drawer. 

3.         Responsible for safekeeping/security of cash and negotiable.

4.         Responsible for daily encoding, safekeeping and filming of all negotiable items.

5.         Knowledgeable of TFCU products and services and cross-sells same.  Answers inquiries and directs members to proper area for detailed information.

6.         Assists in the daily proof of sold money orders, travelers, gift, and official checks, and other General Ledger accounts affected by teller processing.

7.         Assists Head Teller with training of new tellers, when instructed to do so.  Assists other tellers in locating differences, when instructed to do so.

8.         Keeps Head Teller fully informed on the conditions and operations of the teller area and on all important factors influencing the branch.

9.         May be assigned to other branches as business dictates.

10.      All other duties as assigned.
