Part time/Freelance Art Director/Graphic Designer

BeaconFey is a small but smart advertising and marketing agency located in Towson Maryland. We are looking for a multi-talented individual with at least five years of design and graphic experience who can design both for traditional advertising space, but can also work in the digital design world. Healthcare and technology samples are a plus. Prefer on-site, but are open to off-site arrangements. Needs to be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Looking for someone who is not offended, nor ego ruined, when getting changes from clients. Must be adept with InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Position Requirements:

• Prefer bachelor’s degree in art direction, web design, or related field of study

• Minimum of 5 years art direction/​design experience in advertising or marketing.​ Digital experience a plus. Previous agency experience is a plus.​

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to brainstorm and develop creative concepts, apply them to various media, and execute design direction.

• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat is essential on a Macintosh operating system

• Digital application experience a plus

• Adhering to agreed upon delivery estimates and schedules coordinated through the project team
