Essential Job Functions as Housekeeper:

• Cleans and sanitizes residents rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.


• Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area.


• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers


• Performs other tasks as assigned

• Essential Job Functions as Laundry Aide:



• Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and irons linens and resident clothing


• Stocks linen closets and carts for nursing units, and returns linen barrels to the laundry


• Delivers clean linen and resident clothing to rooms


• Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary work area


• Performs routine equipment cleaning such as removing detergent build-up in washers and cleaning lint traps


• Purges, stained, torn, or otherwise unacceptable linen


• Performs other tasks as assigned

  • Must be willing to work in either Housekeeping or Laundry and be a back-up to the facility's Van Driver as needed
