As a key thought leader of the Benefits/Wellness Center of Excellence, your primary focus will be advanced level technical and professional activities in the areas of benefits/wellness plan design, development, evaluation, implementation, coordination and maintenance. Reporting to the VP of Compensation & Benefits, you will be a significant contributor to the evolution of all employee benefits/wellness including plan design, communications, legal compliance and process improvement and will interface with all levels of management. Although this is an individual contributor, previous management level benefits responsibility is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and recommend potential changes for all aspects of employee health, welfare, retirement and wellness program based on trend analyses, best practice, and professional experience to ensure continuous improvement and quality.
* Plan, develop and coordinate the implementation, transition, compliance, and administration of new and current benefit/wellness programs and vendors.
* Key liaison and partner with the Colleague Resource Center in all areas of benefits/wellness including working with the team to resolve systemic issues with the carriers, improve carrier processes and train the team as needed on new programs and Annual Enrollment.
* Collaborate with internal partners within the organization to ensure programs are innovative, competitive and coordinated.
* Prepare benefits reports and analyses for finance, accounting, and external compliance.
* Manage vendor/partner relationships to ensure quality service and cost.
* Plan, develop and coordinate management and Colleague communication materials.
* Develop and deliver Colleague training related to Benefits/Wellness.
* Participate in the development of fiscal year budget projections.
* Participate in the planning and coordination of M&A due diligence and integration.

Qualifications * Minimum 8+ years of increasingly responsible experience in professional level benefits/wellness analytics, benefit administration/implementation, plan design, communications, vendor management and negotiations. * Bachelor's degree required with benefits and/or HR certification preferred. * Legal and compliance knowledge as it relates to employee benefits/wellness including ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, HIPAA, etc. * Excellent project management, interpersonal, verbal & written communication, problem solving and analytical skills. * Ability to resolve issues in a team-based environment as well as the ability to work independently. * Experience balancing multiple priorities; perform work details with accuracy, and meeting established deadlines. * Knowledge of benefits accounting and business financial proficiency.
* Proficiency in data analysis using Excel and Access; PeopleSoft experience preferred.
