The Air Conditioning Systems and Services business of Ingersoll Rand provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that enhance the quality and comfort of the air in homes and buildings around the world. Its offerings, under the Trane and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning brands, include energy efficient systems, service and parts support and advanced building controls.
Responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries, questions or complaints regarding the Parts Department services and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Also responsible for vendor sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and over the counter.
* Orders required parts.
* Provides technical support to customers.
* Answers customer calls and identifies parts.
* Actively makes customers aware of product promotions.
* May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.
* Responsible for warranty administration on all parts.
* Records changes in inventory status by completing paperwork and updating data base as necessary.
* May delivers parts orders to customer locations or job sites.
* Possesses knowledge of the Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.
* Informs customers of standard procedures or resolution of problem.
* Follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Determines best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies.
* Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
