The Parts Clerk attends to the counter in issuing spare parts, tools, and supplies. Receive and put away stock. Maintain an accurate and organized inventory.


 


 


What we offer


Issue parts, materials and supplies from the counter.
Cycle count procedures for parts room inventory using current maintenance computer program.
Perform physical receiving of daily stock. Includes comparing packing list with actual receipt, documenting receipt and preparing all receiver documentation.
Put up received stock. This includes marking all items with a Henkel part number, making sure storage bins are properly labeled and updating locations in the computer.
Learn computer program procedures to receive inventory in the maintenance computer program.
File purchase orders and other documentation used within the department.
Issue out inventory with the current maintenance computer program.
Sign out tools and equipment as per procedure.

Qualification:

Who we are looking for


High School Diploma or equivalent.
Industrial background – Industrial Parts Room or Maintenance background preferred.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, CMMS systems, Excel and Word.
Forklift experience preferred.
Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job.
Must be at the work workstation at the beginning of the shift.
For safety and business purposes, must have communication skills that include reading and writing. Must be able to communicate to others as well as can receive communication from others.
