We are seeking a Patent Agent/Attorney for our Fujitsu Patent Center, located in Alexandria, VA.
- Process the target number of new patent applications and responses of Office Actions vis-à-vis USPTO, prioritizing according to factors that include levels of significance and urgency.
- As guided by a designated one of several categories of scrutiny, commensurately review formalities and substantive aspects in a timely manner to facilitate obtaining patent claim scopes that are defensive assets and/or offensive assets for Fujitsu.
- Provide advice to FJ patent group and its outside vendors on quality improvements to new patent applications and/or draft responses of Office Actions.
- Support FJ's patent measures and policies.
- Registered patent Agent (vis-a-vis USPTO) at a minimum (if not JD).
- 3+ years recent experience.
- Some form of computer, electrical or mechanical technology, with fields related to computers preferred.
