Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for patent preparation and prosecution including docket maintenance and action calendar, liaising with outside counsel and university IP offices; organizing patent committee and collection invention disclosures, initial patent drafting and conducting internal FTO searches.
Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Biology or a related field with 2-3 years experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical company or law firm is required. Experience in both environments is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
