About the Job

IP & T Law Firm PLC is a growing Intellectual Property Firm in Fairfax, VA with a significant practice in prosecuting patent applications for large international clients.  IP & T Law Firm PLC is currently seeking an experienced EE patent attorney to prosecute U.S. patent applications in the area of semiconductor and telecommunication patent applications. A part-time position for telecommuting is also available.  The responsibility for the job includes primarily revising applications prepared by foreign law firms to conform to U.S. styles and practice and claim priority to foreign applications and occasionally preparing responses to office actions.  Strong academic background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in prosecuting semiconductor and telecommunication patent applications including being a former patent examiner are preferred.

 

Job Requirements:
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with strong academic background
• 2-5 years in patent prosecution as a patent examiner or patent attorney
• a U.S. State Bar
• USPTO Bar
