We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our after Hours Call Center in Murray, KY.
Job Responsibilities:
Contacting all patients regarding delivery of equipment, taking patient orders, verifying patient information and placing the order in a timely manner during non-business hours.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Obtains medically necessary documentation.
- Verifies orders are complete
- Processes patient orders through Online Pharmacy system.
- Accurately transcribes patient profile over telephone including data entry of information and possible outbound calling.
- Resolves tracking issues and reschedules shipping orders for patients.
- Troubleshoots problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure.

Job Requirements:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications (including, but not limited to Word and Excel). Experience in a medical field and administrative record management preferred, but not required. Strong customer service background preferred. General knowledge of internet navigation and research, e-mail, fax transmission, and copy equipment are essential.
