Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking an Instructor to teach Pattern of Life Analysis. This position is located on-site at client facility in Metro Washington, D.C. area.
The successful candidate will be a course instructor with the following background:
-Has solid experience in education, teaching, and/or curriculum development.
-Has experience characterizing human terrain using raster and vector GIS data layers.
-Has experience using ArcGIS or other tools to perform address geocoding.
-Has experience using spatial multicriteria/multi-objective evaluation techniques in ArcGIS to conduct area limitation analysis and/or mobility modeling.
Or
-Has experience applying crime mapping, geographic profiling, animal tracking methodologies, methods, and tools to predict where and when an individual is likely to be in a future time and place.
-Has experience developing and applying descriptive and inferential statistics to flows over time and space, including application of time series analysis, sequential data analysis, spatial statistics, or space-time statistics.
-Has experience developing and maintaining geodatabases bases on facility and event locations and times, and other behavioral, cultural, or social factors that influence an individual's spatial decision-making.
-Has experience developing new Pattern of Life support products and analytic techniques.
-Has experience training non-technical audiences in Pattern of Life methodologies, methods and tools.
-Has experience with Intelligence Community collection priorities and methods.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
-Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 12+ years relevant experience or a PhD with 9+ years relevant experience.
-Advanced degree in Geographic Information Science, Quantitative Geography, Computational and Mathematical Social Science, Crime Mapping/Geographic Profiling, Animal Movement Modeling/Animal Tracking, or applied time series or applied spatial statistical analysis and three years experience.
- Currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
-Experience using statistical or spatial statistical software to pattern of life analysis, including CrimeStat, Tableau, SPSS, Statistica, S-Plus, or SAS.
-Experience using Palantir, Geotime, Starlight, Inspire, or Centrifuge.
