Our Regional Credit and Collections office in Prince Fredrick, MD is currently seeking a Part Time Payment Processing Representative to join our high energy, fun and professional team!
Self-starter, reliable and professional will be keys to success in this stable, dynamic organization.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Open and sort mail payments by location and on payment batches.
- Apply payments to open charges on the customer account via customer’s check using check scanning system and via credit card payment.
- Prepare reconciliation analysis report verifying the previous day’s bank deposit to the ADD’s system posting using various reports.
- Occasional contact with field locations (CSC’s) to verify and correct posted items as necessary.
- Assist our locations with researching check and credit card payments/charges.
- Respond to general phone inquiries from retail/field locations.
- Handle any administrative duties associated with this position.
Experience:
- HS or GED or the equivalent; Associates degree a plus.
- 2 - 3 years A/R experience preferred.
- 1 - 2 years Collections experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Laws a plus.
- Competency with MS Office products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven record of productivity and continuous improvement.
This is a part-time position ~ 34 hours per week ~ Monday through Friday SUBURBAN PROPANE
