Payroll Accountant 

Strong international company with a diverse group of manufacturing facilities is seeking a Payroll Accountant for one of their new acquisitions. Duties and responsibilities for this position would include processing salary and audit/validate wage payrolls, plus respective employee fringe/social cost deductions, transfers, and interfaces.  Review quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, state payroll tax returns, assist with benefits administration, prepare and review 5500 benefit plan tax filings, and prepare bank reconciliations for payroll/disbursement accounts.  Additional duties in accounting will include journal entries, general ledger work, assisting with month end close reports and trail balance.

Requirements

BS in Accounting or related degree preferred, a minimum of two year related degree a must and three to five years of payroll and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.  Successful applicants Must have excellent skills in Excel and Word.
