Payroll Conversion Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:
1. The Payroll Implementation Specialist works directly with our sales representatives and new payroll clients to ensure a smooth transition of converting clients from their previous payroll processor to Heartland's.
2. Communicates with the client to establish a relationship, set expectations and determine needs and requirements for the conversion.
3. Data entry is required for company setup, employee and tax data into our system.
4. Verifies information, answers questions and updates client on conversion status.
5. Trains clients on usage of our products and works with client to help them become comfortable and proficient during initial payrolls.
6. Reviews the payroll and reports. Resolves all issues and ensures client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma
Two years of previous Payroll/Payroll Tax Processing, Accounting or High level Client Relations experience required.

13. Ability to work with minimal supervision after initial six month training period
14. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office Products and Internet.
15. Will require flexible schedule during high volume periods particularly during quarter-end and year-end
