Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll operations and initiate process improvements to maximize customer service and productivity, develop and/or review payroll policies and procedures as needed
-Orcle Payroll System & Kronos time keeping system
-Oversee department of 12, including a payroll manager and payroll supervisor
- Maintain leading edge knowledge of payroll discipline as an internal expert for compliance issues
- Manage third party vendor relationships
- Manage the weekly and monthly file conversions
- Troubleshoot and work with the information technology on all system related initiatives and upgrades as well as installations.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws
Job Requirements:
- BA or BS degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
- At least 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in leading and managing a payroll department
- System implementation and/or process improvement experience
- Extensive knowledge in Payroll & Accounting procedures and Payroll Tax Law & Regulations
- Proficiency in customer service culture is necessary
