Human Resources / Payroll Assistant


 


ITOCHU Prominent USA, a subsidiary of ITOCHU International, a global company, designs and manufactures men’s and women’s fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers.  The company sources and handles logistics of importing textiles for name-brand companies, including Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Nordstrom’s and The Gap, and handles licensing or distribution for J. Crew, Guess,,Tommy Hilfiger and other brands.


 


We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources/Payroll Assistant to join our HR team.  You will provide payroll and HR administrative support to the department.


 


Responsibilities may include but not limited to:



  • Payroll/HRIS Administration:


    • Handles all data entry for payroll processing.

    • Assists with the auditing of payroll.

    • Maintain all employee information current on HRIS

  • Benefits administration

  • General HR Administrative:


    • Handles all paperwork to obtain approval on new hires, terms or salary changes.

    • Maintain all HR files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

    • Verifies I9 documentation and keep files current.

    • Keeps organization charts up to date.

 


Candidates must have 1+ years of payroll processing experience plus a Bachelor’s degree.  Knowledge of ADP software required.
