Our client, a non-profit company located near Media, PA, is seeking a Payroll Manager. The company has about 3,700 employees who work as a team.
This role serves as liaison to ADP as they perform the payroll and the Payroll manager must have a strong ADP Enterprise background. The Payroll Manager must ensure that the bi-weekly payroll is accurate and be aware of any payroll tax issues especially as it relates to a non-profit company. The Company deals with multiple states so the Payroll manager must be aware of multi-state payroll implications.
Job Requirements
-Must have obtained a 4-year college degree, preferably in accounting or finance
-Prefer candidates with CPA or those who have worked for a public accounting firm
-5+ years working in the Payroll department, preferably experience with non-profits
-Must have direct or recent expertise using ADP (especially ADP Enterprise)
-Must have experience with multi-state payrolls
-Must have outgoing, genuine, warm personality and be able to navigate different personalities and get along with many different types of personalities. Must have strong diplomatic skills and desire to work with others in a team.
