Payroll Specialist          33-10156052

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing multi-site and multi-state payroll. This position is based in Elmhurst and reports directly to the Assistant Controller. 

Responsibilities

• Work with salaried and hourly employees
• Maintain employee records/attendance cards
• Timely response to inquiries for information in all areas of the Payroll Administrator’s duties
• Prepare/verify month end reports including monthly bank reconciliations
• Calculate various earnings, deductions and taxes; disability,  new hires, terminations, garnishments, bonus, 401k deductions, state, federal and local taxes
• Process various interfaces and direct deposits
• Written and verbal communications with employees in regards to paychecks, deductions, taxes and earnings

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Payroll experience
• Must possess proficiency in MS Office applications as well as ADP
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, organized with excellent analytical ability and strong communication skills
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust and confidence
