Duties
· Reviews E-Pafs for new hires, terminations, position changes, pay changes.
· Reviews hourly (SH) time reporting, calculating overtime payments when needed.
· Inputs proper coding for overtime payments for hourly employees.
· Receives, verifies, processes and keys into the payroll system garnishment orders from various federal, state, and local agencies. Processes disbursements as required.
· Inputs W-4 and DE4 information
· Inputs direct deposits information
· Inputs various payroll deductions such as union dues
· Process off-cycle and termination checks as needed.
· Serves as a resource to individuals and departments; resolves payroll problems.
· Monitors check printing and prepares checks and direct deposit advice forms for distribution.
· Collects and organizes sign off sheets from signers and departments.
· Assists with duties of Student Payroll Coordinator and Assistant Payroll Manager (Non Exempt Staff & Student) in case of absence.
· Process labor redistribution requests
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Two years or more in a large payroll environment (250 or more employees) with unions
· Experience in calculating and processing final paychecks
· Experience with payroll system such as ADP a plus.
· Must be organized, able to meet deadlines, perform in a high stress environment, and work overtime when needed.
· Must have good customer service skills
· Word and excel skills a must
· Able to work with minimal supervision
