Our client, a major international investment bank is seeking a Payroll Tax Clerk for its Compensation Accounting area in Jersey City, NJ.
This is a consulting position. You will be employed by Mandrill Staffing & Placement to work at our client's offices from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the duration of the assignment, which is expected to last until early December.
The rate for this position is $34.62 an hour for regular hours and $51.92 for hours over 40 worked in a given week.

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with proven academic excellence
- At least 5 years of payroll accounting experience and/or other general accounting background
- A solid understanding of payroll rules, laws, and operations in a multi-state and global payroll process
- A solid background in either domestic or international payroll functions
- Experience in ADP or PeopleSoft systems
- A deep knowledge of processing a complex payroll in a financial services company is a plus
