We are currently seeking a Pension Processor to work in our Houston (Sugar Land area) branch. You will be responsible for calculating pension benefits, processing and verifying pension checks for accuracy and completeness; preparing correspondence for members, beneficiaries and employer representatives regarding hours and credits earned, contribution and account balances and estimated pension benefits. You will also be responsible for inputting, updating and editing individual account data. Responsibilities include responding to telephone calls and written requests from participants, unions and Trustees.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in the benefits and/or healthcare insurance field; experience with pension plan administration is a plus. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize while delivering top quality customer service. Excellent organizational and decision making skills required. Candidates must have good math aptitude; and intermediate PC skills including Word and Excel, 10 key by touch. This is an hourly position under union contract. The work schedule is full time 37.5 hours/week.
