The Pension Supervisor leads his/her team to deliver outstanding service results from a quality, speed, efficiency and customer relationship-enhancing standpoint. Responsibilities include:
- Directs activities of Pension department staff.
- Works and interacts with professional related to each client (i.e. actuaries, consultants, legal, investment managers, etc.)
- Prepares and/or oversees the preparation of pension valuations and related services.
- Maintains thorough knowledge in the field.
- Position may support Office Manager in conjunction with one other Assistant Office Manager in staff supervision, training, coordination and other related duties (i.e. supervisory level calls, management referrals, respond to internal and external customer inquiries, staff management, training, feedback, auditing, monitoring of work and Management by Walking Around ("MBWA").
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate employee and employer records for the administration of Plan benefits.
- Trains and develops the team associates and ensures that they have the tools necessary to create high levels of value for HPHI customers and shareholders.
- The Supervisor willingly assumes additional responsibilities when needed.

- Bachelors preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years defined benefit pension analysis, calculation and review.
- Complete understanding of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations mandatory.
- Pension background must include implementation of Plan Rules and Regulations, advanced calculation experience, and daily interaction with pension applicants.
- Prefer experience and/or education in supervision, familiarity with human resources.
- Familiarity with Taft Hartley Plans helpful.
