Client: New York City Financial Information Services Agency (FISA)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Duration: 12-18 months with possible renewals

Employment: Full Time Salaried, Independent Consultant (No 3^{rd party firms!)}

Responsible for implementation of the IBM/Rational Suite, including Requisite Pro, Test Manager, ClearQuest and ClearCase to support the HR and Benefits functions of PeopleSoft HRMS for the New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS). Under the direction of the Test Manager the Tester will develop and maintain formal test plans and approaches to ensure delivery of quality functionality for PeopleSoft HRMS customizations, as well as develop and manage test cases and plans for system, functional, stress, regression, smoke, integration, performance, load and user acceptance testing. The Tester will also be expected to troubleshoot issues with the Rational Suite of products.

• 5+ years experience using Rational Suite (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Requisite Pro, ClearCase and ClearQuest)
• 2+ years with customizations and implementations of integrated Rational applications
• 5+ years experience creating testing deliverables that include test strategies, cases and scripts
• Experience testing PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and backup procedures
• Functional knowledge of HR benefits and payroll administration processes
• Experience testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces
• Experience prioritizing project work and issues
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, re-creation and very detailed oriented)
• Excellent communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in a technical/business discipline
