PeopleSoft Technical Director

 Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Provide hands-on requirements gathering, analysis, development and implementation of requested upgrades, enhancements, changes to PeopleSoft Financials, Portal, and HCM applications.

Ø  Provide technical support of applications working directly with clients in managing their requests, understanding their requirements and translating functional requirements to technical specifications through hands-on analysis.

Ø  Diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft system related production errors to ensure the accuracy of corporate business critical systems. Research questions with respect to both maintenance and development activities. Interact with database administrators, security analysts and business system users in this effort.

Ø  Implementation of PeopleSoft updates/fixes, application and PeopleTools upgrades.

Ø  Staying current with PeopleTools technology advances and providing impact analysis of PeopleTools upgrades.

Ø  Perform full life cycle software development.

Ø  Develop and maintain custom bolt-on applications using PeopleTools.

Ø  Participate in development of system test plans and acceptance criteria.

Ø  Communicate development project status to Project Manager on a timely and accurate basis.

Job Requirements:

Ø  BA/BS in related field and/or 5+ years experience in PeopleSoft HCM/Finance systems.

Ø  Experience successfully implementing PeopleSoft HCM/Finance/ESA in a Global environment.  

Ø  In-depth technical understanding of PeopleSoft 9.x HCM and Finance modules.

Ø  Min. experience with Portal 8.9 and/or HCM 8.9 and/or FSCM 8.9; Portal 9.0 and/or HCM 9.0 and/or FSCM 9.0 preferred.

Ø  Demonstrated expertise in Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Change Assistant, DataMover, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler preferred. Experience and knowledge of service oriented architecture also desirable.

Ø  Experience in web server applications and web services.

Ø  Monitoring and problem resolution of production PeopleSoft Integrations.

Ø  Working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 and/or Oracle 10g.

Ø  Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Ø  Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.

Ø  Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and time management skills.
