As a Mastered Social Worker with Rehab Without Walls®, you will:
•Perform a thorough evaluation, assessing the social work needs of the person receiving services and their families including but not limited to social and emotional issues, assistance with obtaining food stamps, housing, transportation and other support services. Set measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehabilitation team. Adjusts treatment to achieve maximum results.
•Provide direct social work intervention as required by the rehabilitation plan.
•Identify and assist the person receiving services to utilize appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives. Utilize special skills and judgment to resolve adverse social and emotional responses connected with the injury/illness.
•Instruct and counsel the person receiving services and family members in treating and coping with social and emotional response connected with the injury/illness.
•Provide training to the person receiving services and as appropriate, all others involved in that person's rehabilitation. Analyze and document the result of any training.

Qualifications
•Master’s Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy (LCSW, MSW, MFCC, or LPC)
•Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting serving persons who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or other acute diagnosis
•Current Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapist licensure/certification in the state(s) of practice required by individual states
