A per Diem Nurse is a Registered Nurse who is engaged to work as needed to deliver safe competent, quality patient care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patient and their significant others.
Job Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in New York State Associate or Bachelor Degree in nursing Must have relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice Evidence of ability to maintain interpersonal relationships, communicate appropriately to others, work effectively to solve problems and confronts issues appropriately One year or more of critical care background Demonstrates a strong commitment to furthering institutional goals through interdisciplinary teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to think creatively
