Job Requirements:


  • Previous strong acute care inpatient coding experience within a large setting

  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care inpatient coding experience

  • CCS (AHIMA) coding certification or equivalent (i.e., RHIA, RHIT, CPC-H, etc.)

  • Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM coding conventions, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and federal regulations and policies pertaining to documentation and billing
